Aloys and Curtis’ New Year’s Eve Wedding

It was a beautiful day on December 31, 2010. Aloys and Curtis were married at St. John’s Nottingham Lutheran Church in Cleveland. We took photos before the ceremony, since it would be dark afterward. The temperature was in the 50s, so it was perfect for outdoor photos. Our creative session was in downtown Willoughby. The church was decorated beautifully. It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen a church as full as St. John’s was. After the beautiful ceremony, we headed to Patrician Party Center in Eastlake. This was the first time I shot at Patrician. It’s a really nice banquet center with great food and a very hard-working staff.

Aloys and Curtis’ receptions was one of the most fun of the year. Everyone was excited about bringing in the New Year in addition to celebrating Aloys and Curtis’ wedding. There were tons of New Years hats, tiaras, noisemakers and beads. It was such a festive atmosphere that hardly anyone left before midnight. Lance and I had a great time with Aloys and Curtis. It was a great way to spend our New Year’s Eve.

Here’s a few of my favorite shots.

Meghann Griffiths - WOW!!! These last two weeks we have all been so anxious to see the photos of what we thought was the best wedding. We thought in no way could anyone capture the most amazing evening ever. However, Justin, you have over exceeded our every expectation of what we had hoped the photos would be. Thank you for everything. We can’t wait to see the rest.

Justin - Hi Rebecca – I can’t believe you still follow my blog. That’s so exciting to me. How is married life? Are you and Neal still cruising around on your motor bikes (when it’s warm)?

Rebecca Storey - Hi Justin – Yep, I still follow your blog. Your photos are fantastic and the fact that you have so many different subjects is quite interesting. Married life is terrific! Still waiting for the warm weather to kick in but by next month we should be cruising around on our two-wheelers. Keep of the great work!
