Amy and Mike

Amy and Mike were married on October 16 at St. Basil the Great Church in Brecksville. The reception was at Lake Forest Country Club in Hudson. This was such a fun wedding to shoot. I started out at Amy’s parents’ house. Amy was loving the camera (and it was loving her) from the moment it came out of the bag. Everyone was in such a great mood. Not a hint of stress.

I was introduced to Mike the night before the wedding at the rehearsal, and I knew right away he was going to be a fun guy to work with. After the beautiful ceremony, we took group photos at Lake Forest. It’s an amazing venue with so much to offer photographically. The bridal party was a really fun bunch. The reception was non-stop dancing. The floor was packed, thanks to the awesome job that The DJ Crew did. I love working with those guys.

Rick Sheridan shot this wedding with me. It was the fist time I had the pleasure of working with Rick. He’s such an experienced pro and a blast to shoot with.

Almost everything about this wedding went perfectly, and the one thing that didn’t (I’ve never seen pliers from a Swiss Army Knife used to bustle a stubborn dress before) was pretty hilarious. It was an unbelievable day and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it.
