Barb and Chuck were married at the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club on August 8. When Pete and I arrived at the club, the rain was coming down hard. Luckily, the ceremony could be moved from outside to the covered porch. The rain stopped about a half hour before the ceremony began, and it turned out to be a very pleasant evening.
Barb and Chuck were totally stress-free all day long. I’m sure that had a lot to do with Brandi Hamerstone of All Events Planned, who did a great job of making this wedding a seamless success. But they are also really laid-back people who don’t sweat the small stuff…like rain. They were a reak pleasure to work with, especially during the formals, when we were arranging a couple large groups in a relativity tight space. Actually, everyone was cooperative as could be, which made life easy for me.
Reception entertainment was provided by Tony Quarles and The Discovery Band. I’ve worked with them before at huge and small events, and they always put on an awesome show.
Here’s a few images.
Pete snapped this one. Great shot!
Sometimes I’ll line up the bridal party and ask them to act casual and talk and laugh and so on. But this shot is 100% candid. I was lining them up for a formal when they started busting up laughing. I love when stuff like that happens.
