Griffin’s Bar Mitzvah

Congratulations to Griffin on his Bar Mitzvah. He’s a very nice young man with a wonderful and fun family. The ceremony was at The Temple Tifereth Israel. We did family photos at the temple before the ceremony. The reception was at Beechmont Country Club in Beachwood. FLOW Entertainment came all the way from Chicago to MC and DJ this special event. As you will see in the photos, the party was off the chain. EVERYONE was dancing.

I had a great time working with the Davis family and all the guests. Congrats again to Griffin!

Brandon Rock’s Rockin’ Bar Mitzvah

I had a great time with Brandon and his family on Saturday to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah. The ceremony and reception was at The Temple in Beachwood. Once again, Rock the House did an awesome job of keeping the party energized to the very end. Brandon was such a pleasure to work with. Everyone had a blast.

Zoe’s Awesome Bat Mitzvah

I had such a great time photographing Zoe and her family. They were so friendly and easy to work with.

Zoe’s Bat Mitzvah was an amazing experience for everyone who attended, including me. There was so much planning that went into making her big day extra special, and it all ended up coming together perfectly. I know Zoe had a blast, as did all of her friends and family.

Landerhaven and Rock the House did an incredible job with the decor, food, lighting and entertainment. I love working with such professionals.

Max Sonkin

Congratulations to Max! He had an awesome Bar Mitzvah on Saturday. We took family pics in the morning at Fairmount Temple in Beachwood. In the evening, everyone partied at Beechmont Country Club.

I’ve photographed a lot of Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and I’ve seen some pretty awesome decorations, but Max’s amazing jersey collection, along with the incredible sports-themed center pieces and locker room hallway, provided by Designs of Distinctions, was of my all time favorites. It was especially appropriate because everyone enjoyed the Cavs’ big victory over Boston while dancing.

The entertainment was provided by Terry Macklin Sounds of Entertainment. The MC and dancers did an awesome job, as always.

Max and his family were such a pleasure to work with. Max was so polite and always willing to grab a bunch of friends for photos. I had a great time. Here’s a few of my favorites.

Carly’s Bat Mitzvah party was awesome! Everybody was dancing and having a great time. Rock The House played awesome music and put on an incredible break-dancing show towards the end of the night, and Executive Caterers at Landerhaven did a great job of taking care of everyone. Carly was so easy to photograph because she was always laughing and smiling with her friends. I really enjoyed documenting Carly’s Bat Mitzvah.

Summer’s Poppin (literally) Party

Congratulations to Summer, who had her Bat Mitzvah on April 18. Summer and her family and friends celebrated her big day at the Boneyard in Mayfield Hts. All of the tunes and entertainment was provided by TKO.

Below are some of the images from the day.

So why was Summer’s party “poppin?” Because there were about 650 square feet of bubble wrap on the ground, and about 50 regular feet (most with painted toe nails) stomping away to the most popular dance music. There was enough poppin to make Orville Redenbacher jealous.

Brett Dubin’s Bar Mitzvah was Saturday, April 4. The ceremony was at Park Synagogue and the party was held at Oakwood Club. Brett’s party had some really fun stuff, like basketball hoops and a huge inflatable tug-of-war type game called “First and Goal.” It was the main attraction for all the young adults. Some of the “old” people even got in on the action.

Rock the House provided great music, dance moves and entertainment for everyone. It was truly an awesome party.

It was really great working with the Dubin family. They’ve been guests at so many other Bar/Bat Mitzvahs that I’ve photographed this year. It was finally Brett’s turn and it was well worth the wait.

Congratulations Genna!

Genna had two big reasons to celebrate on March 14. For one, it was here birthday. Happy Birthday, Genna! Second, it was her Bat Mitzvah.

The ceremony was at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple in Beachwood. The party was at Maggiano’s in Beachwood Place.

Genna had a jungle theme with leopard and zebra patterns everywhere. There were also jungle animal balloons at every table. Even the candy had exotic patterns. Every detail was covered.

Terry Macklin provided all the music and entertainment, including a green-screen photo booth.

It was a great party and everyone had a blast until the very end. I will post a link to the entire gallery when it is complete.
