After the cancellation of our first shoot due to blizzard-like conditions, I finally hooked up with Jennifer and Anthony downtown. It was cold, but at least the snow wasn’t coming down sideways.
This was the first time I met Jennifer and Anthony and we got along wonderfully. They were really looking forward to the session despite...

The rain stopped just in time for Stacy and Ryan’s engagement session. We met up in Little Italy at dusk and had a great time walking up and down Mayfield Road looking for fun places to shoot. Fortunately, it was much warmer than the day before and we actually spent about two hours taking photos....

So many of my couples are from out of town and schedule engagement sessions for when they are home visiting family. It’s usually this time of year, which offers opportunities and challenges. The opportunities include getting engagement photos and Christmas photos at the same time. There’s usually lots of colorful lights and the cold really...

I had a great time downtown with Marriette and Mark. They were a lot of fun…and funny. It was exactly as an engagement session should be.. completely relaxed and carefree. We wondered around Public Square for a while, taking shots on the monument. Then we found a cool brick wall in the entrance of a...

We met up at the Nature Center and then moved to Squire’s Castle. This was my...

A while back I received a call from a Shurrell about meeting to discuss her wedding. As we were coordinating our schedules, she said that her and her family had just moved to Radford Dr. in Highland Heights, which is where I live. I was wondering who bought the house across the street. Anna said...

Pete and I met up with Antonietta and Frank in Little Italy for their engagement session. I couldn’t believe how busy it was on that small stretch of Mayfield Rd. People and cars were everywhere. Restaurants and shops were packed. Antonietta and Frank are really brave people. It’s one thing to...

Lindsey called me mid-day to see if the cloudy weather was going to be too much of a factor for her and Zach’s e-session later that evening. The sky wasn’t looking too promising and the forecast called for showers. We planned the shoot to take advantage of the beautiful evening light. Luckily for us, the sky...

Andrea and Justin were visiting from Cincinnati to finish up some wedding details, so it was the perfect time to do the e-session.
They were a lot of fun and great at letting their silly sides come out during the shoot. They didn’t mind covering a lot of ground to find nice shady places either. We started at Wendy...
