Phoebe and Ryan were married on May 23 at the Church of the Covenant in Cleveland Heights. They had a great e-session, so I knew I was working with a wonderful couple that like to smile. The reception was at the Renaissance Hotel in Public Square. I’ve shot a number of events there and it’s always a top-notch experience. It’s amog the classiest places in Cleveland. The architecture and room colors (peach, in this case) treat the camera well too.
Ryan is in law school. I know he takes the books seriously because even on his wedding day he’s in the church’s library.

Phoebe is a very kind person and I can tell that she’s very sentimental as well. Not long before the wedding started, she asked everyone to leave the room so she could spend a few minutes alone with her mom. I know this was a very special moment for both of them.

I have to admit, this shot was Ryan’s mom’s idea. See… it’s important to consider more than one perspective on everything, even if you’ve done it the same way a thousand times.

I don’t know squat about “strings.” But I do know that Phoebe’s brother was playing some while she danced with her dad. Personally, I love when family and friends contribute their talents to make the day extra special. These are the things that make lasting memories.

Beautiful!
