When Shurrell called me about setting up an initial meeting, we were both surprised to find out we were neighbors. Her family had just moved in across the street a few weeks before. It was fun to meet my new neighbor in a photography meeting. Shurrell and Brandon are genuinely wonderful people and we hit it off right away. We had an awesome engagement session last summer, which seems like last week. I can’t believe how fast time flies.
This wedding had more waterworks than King’s Island, which is always a good thing for photographers. I knew at the rehearsal it was going to be a very emotional wedding. The ceremony had beautiful music, lots of laughing and lots of crying. I love the weddings where even I start getting choked-up. I could feel the anticipation and excitement in the packed church, and it was present all day.
Everyone got ready at the Embassy Suites in Beachwood. The wedding ceremony was at The Church of the Master in Cleveland Heights. The creative session was at Squire’s Castle in Willoughby Hills, and the reception was at La-Vera Party Center, also in Willoughby Hills. Once again, Lance Anderson shot with me and captured beautiful moments.
Shurrell and Brandon said they wanted to “make the wall,” referring to the gallery of photos I have hanging in my studio. Making the wall was easy. Trying to decide which image to print is going to be the hard part.
