Lisa and Jeff’s E-session

What a fun couple!

We met by the Rock Hall and took a stroll down Voinovich Park, which is always a fun place to shoot. Then we headed up to the fountain and stopped at a lot of nice spots in between. We were concerned about the weather early on because the Weather Channel called for rain from 5:00 pm on. That was at about 5:00 pm. I think they need a new Magic 8 Ball over at the WC. It’s only $9.99 on Amazon. I’m sure that’s a lot cheaper than the latest Doppler radar, and just as accurate.

Maria took video of the shoot, and I was listening to it as I edited these photos. I was cracking up at some of the conversations we had. There was a lot of joking and laughing going on. Lisa and Jeff are so funny, but they could definitely turn the serious on when we were shooting. Their eyes are fantastic and really command all the attention in the images. This caused me to shoot a lot of portraits with them looking straight into the camera.   They did an awesome job. I know that covering their wedding in October is going to be a lot of fun.

I said I’d give them $100 if they got in the fountain for some photos.  I could tell they totally wanted to. After a few minutes of shooting, a man with a walkie talkie came over and said something to us about shooting there. I heard the words “tripod” and “permit.” Then he went booking (as fast as he could) back to the guard hut.  It was funny. At least we had a little time to get some shots off.

Lucky for us, the giant hamsters never showed up.
