Maria and Chris

The other night I came home from a wedding and Chris (groom), Varun (groom to be) and Charlie (no link yet) were on my back porch eating pizza and drinking beer (if only every post-wedding Saturday were like this). Maria, my wife Anna, and several other friends/family members were at a different Maria’s bachelorette party. I told Chris that I was going to have his and Maria’s wedding photos on my blog soon. He let me know just how anxious Maria was to see some pix. I laughed with a tiny bit of fear, but finally, I have some photos for Maria to look at.

Maria and Chris were married on the much coveted date of 9/10/11 (brides know what I’m talking about). I’ve known Maria for about 6 years and I had the pleasure of meeting Chris after they were engaged. We had a great time shooting the engagement session, so I was really excited about their wedding. I was also looking forward to it because a lot of people I knew were going to be there, and I know how the Italians party. It turns out that Chris’ family knows how to party too!

The ceremony was at St. Noel Church in Willoughby and the reception was at Borally’s in Richmond Hts. My buddies Jeremy Rich and Christian Dela Vega from Selective Sound spun the tunes. All the guests had a blast! The food was great, the music was great, and most importantly, Maria, Chris and their bridal party were awesome.

I started off shooting at John Roberts in Mayfield Hts. After the ceremony, we went to the Halle Building downtown because the weather was iffy. Then we headed to Willoughby to shoot at some great locations around my studio.

Bert Wagner shot with me and did an excellent job, as always.

Congratulations Maria and Chris! Can’t wait to see you guys soon (hopefully, no punching).

Bert covered the guys getting ready and snapped this shot of Chris.

OMG! LOL!

No. You’re the man!

Sandy Childs - Justin, what a terrific photographer you are. You are so creative and capture the best of everyone. I, too, love the one of Neno and of course Rocco. Your photographs should be in magazines. Great job!!
