Melissa and Robert were married on September 11 at the Grand Pacific Wedding Chapel in Olmsted Falls. It’s a very nice chapel with a big room for the bride and bride’s maids to get ready in. The entire area is great for photos because there’s a lot of variety in a close proximity.
Melissa and the girls were putting on the finishing touches when Shannon Rice and I arrived. Melissa was calm and smiley. Robert was hanging out with the guys outside the chapel. The ceremony was short and sweet with a couple moments of comedy. One thing that made me laugh was a stubborn candle or candle holder. I couldn’t tell which was the culprit, but the candle wouldn’t stand up straight. So it just leaned next to two perfectly up-rite candles.
After the ceremony we went to the covered bridge and train tracks for photos. Melissa, Robert and the bridal party were a fun bunch to photograph. The rain held off just in time for us to finish up.
The receptions was at Brennan’s Banquet Center in Cleveland. Freddie James was the DJ. He played great music and everyone danced all night. There was also a very nice slideshow of Melissa and Robert growing up. It’s fun to watch how couples lead very different lives and eventually meet and fall in love.
I’m really happy to have been a part of Melissa and Robert’s wedding day. It was a beautiful day for them and an adventurous day for me and Shannon.
Shannon Rice shot this wedding with me and did a fantastic job. She does beautiful work.
