Stacy and Troy were married on September 25 in the Hungarian Garden. I was looking forward to their wedding ever since our engagement shoot in Chicago last spring. They’re such a kind and fun couple and I knew their big day would be a real blast to photograph.
Lance and I started out at they Hyatt downtown. After everybody was dressed and ready to go, it was time for the “first glance” – the moment when Troy sees Stacy for the first time. It was quite a moment, followed by a lot of hugs and kisses. We took a few photos in the Arcade before heading to Voinovich Park and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The wind was whipping very hard by the lake. The ceremony hadn’t taken place yet, so we had to be careful not to let the wind mess up flowers and hair and everything else.
It was a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony. The garden looked beautiful. Heidi Baumgart of Heidzillas did an amazing job of organizing everything at the ceremony and reception.
