About

Hello! Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a passion for art. My photography journey actually began with oil portrait painting. As I began commissioning oil portraits, I had to learn how to light and photograph the client for a reference photo. The more I did this, the more I began to enjoy the medium. Eventually, the paint brush and canvas were permanently put on the shelf and photography took over. I do miss painting though and hope to pick it up again in the future.

Since that time, I have become an award-winning photographer. I have been photographing weddings, events, real-estate, families and people of distinction for more than 15 years now. Photography has taken me across the state, country and globe. It has allowed me to meet and document incredible couples, talented artists, corporate leaders, political dignitaries and Hall-of-Fame athletes.

My approach to photography is very much based around the use of light. Great lighting is key to getting great photographs. The sun or ambient light does not usually cooperate, which is why I have spent countless hours studying the use of off-camera lighting. It is critical to my overall style. Composition, posing, the ability to anticipate moments and editing are also areas that are very important to my photography style.
